[It...takes her a lot of time to work up the nerve to leave this message.

Because things were horrible for a long time, and also she just felt so terrible about it-- well, what if Presa doesn't even want to look at her, after she was used to get her kidnapped like that?

...But she has to say something.]

Um... Miss Presa...

...I was just wondering if you were doing all right. That's...that's all.

[ How unexpected. It's not because she doubted Morgan, or held any ill feelings towards her. What happened isn't her fault, not exactly, but Presa didn't think that she would actually, well, check up on her.

Then again it's a course of action not many people take. From what she can remember at least. Instead of leaving the message unattended, she makes sure to return Morgan's call.

It's the polite thing to do after all. ]

Morgan... [ She isn't going to let the girl know what happened, that wouldn't be fair so don't mind the little white lies. ]

I'm fine. Everything's back to normal now. [ Nearly. ]

[...it's been rough, hasn't it? For all of them. While she's had her own struggles, she knows that it would've been infinitely worse had Kite gotten ahold of her again.

...so she had to check. And somehow--well, it's a relief to hear from Presa.]

Oh...thank the gods! Miss Presa, it's so good to hear from you. I was... I was so worried, you know?

[She kind of woke up on the ground with Kida and Presa both gone, that's not a positive place to be.]

...I'm really sorry.

[ It's a relief for her as well.

When her memories returned, bit by bit, Presa didn't know what happened to Morgan. She had not seen her since she went in to go pay Kite a visit, and having no recollection of her prevented Presa from checking up on her. ]

There's no need to be worried. [ It isn't like she can really die or anything.

Presa furrowed her brows. ]

Why are you apologizing?

[intendance]

[...ah. Well. She pauses at that, before breathing out in a sigh.]

Honestly... I know that I was used against you so that you'd have to go in.

You probably could've figured something out if I hadn't been there, right? So--I'm sorry for that.

Don't apologize. It was my choice and I am the one who made it. We don't know what would have happened if we hadn't been together.

[ Morgan could have gotten caught instead, or perhaps both of them. Anything could have happened. ]

This might be a little bit odd to say, but I don't regret my choice.

I was able to protect someone who means something to me.

[...ah... That's...that's a really sweet thing to say. And Morgan blinks for a moment--and then a sniffle can probably be heard, though she manages to not burst into tears.

She's undeniably touched, though. That's one of the sweetest things anyone has ever said to her, here or otherwise.]

O-oh... I...thank you, Miss Presa. But...don't get taken again, all right? I much prefer it when you're here and safe and sound!

[ All this gushy and soft stuff is weird to Presa so she's a little stuck on what to do when she hears Morgan like this.

There isn't much to do though besides talk. It's a nice feeling at least, something new (or at least one she hasn't felt for a very long time.) ]

You're welcome, and I don't have any plans on doing so. If I am then I'll be sure to cause Kite hell.

[... And that much gets a quiet laugh out of Morgan, at least.]

If anyone could do it, I bet it'd be you! I owe him some too, though... Someday, I'll make him pay for what he's done to you, and me, and Zohra, and Morgan...

But for now, I'm just really glad that you're all right!
